Hi.

I have set up a couple of snippets under the "Text" category in the VA Snippet Editor. When I'm editing a .txt file, I am unable to call up the usual "Surround With (VA X)" context menu, nor do the shortcuts I set for the snippets have any effect. How do I enable the VA X suggestion listbox when I press Ctrl+Space while editing a .txt file?

Thanks,
Mike

Most VA features are disabled in text files, to try and avoid problems.

If you press the "Insert VA Snippet" toolbar button are you defined snippets listed? They should be. You should also be able to access this by binding a keyboard shortcut to "VAssistX.VaSnippetInsert" in the IDE keyboard options.

As far as I know Visual Assist do not supports snippets in text files.
