VAX 1649, WinXP SP2, VS2008 SP1, C++
If i try to rename a define from the ressource.h the rename-function works in the whole solution except the resource.rc (opened in the source-editor). The "Goto" works fine.
I know it could be a problem, if the resource.rc is opened in the resource editor instead of the source-editor, but maybe you find a solution for that. |

We are considering having rename search .rc files:
case=18366
For now is the IDE's find and replace in files a suitable work around? I am assuming that most things from .rc files have fairly unique names, so you don't have to worry to much about false positives. |
