Hi,
I am having difficulty getting Find Symbol to work. It worked when I left work Friday, but now all I get when I press the toolbar button is a handy message box that says... va_x in the title bar, has a triangle with an exclamation point in it and an OK button. When I press OK, I get the Find Symbol dialog, but it doesn't find any symbols. |

These steps also require to restart Visual Studio  |

Restarting Visual Studio fixed my problem. But next time it happens, I will try these steps.

As a wild guess your symbol database has been corrupted. Can you please try press
VA Options -> Performance -> Clear history, cache and temporary files
and then
VA Options -> Performance -> Rebuild symbol databases
to see if this helps? |
