This is a quickie feature request to support the home and end keys in the menu that comes down with Alt-M. As well as shift-home and shift-end to select in that same edit box.

It's a little strange that it doesn't support these common conventions of edit boxes and I often mess up because of this as I'm trying to type in stuff to find the subset of functions I need.

case=470 is fixed in build 1721

Someone has already put in a bug report for editing keys in the filter string:

case=470

I suggested Ctrl-Home and Ctrl-End, rather than Alt, since I don't think I have ever seen Alt-Home in any program I use, while Ctrl-Home is a familiar key combination.

Ah, good point. Well how about just shift-home and shift-end then? I guess it's not that important but this is something I continue to mess up, and I've been using VAX for years..

Currently Home and End change the current item in the list of functions, rather than moving the caret in the edit field.

Left and Right along with Ctrl+Left and Ctrl+Right work for me to move the caret around in the edit box.

There are conflicting needs here, to move the caret in the edit field, and to move the current item in the list of functions.
