Posted - Jan 09 2009 : 6:42:00 PM It looks like VA Outline and VA View are using the older VS2003/VS2005 style context menus instead of the newer ones present in VS2008. I'm using a dark/inverted visual style, and while all of the actual VS2008 menus properly support theming and look fine, the context menus in VA Outline/View seem to be displayed using an older method -- the background is forced to be light, the icons in the menu don't match the rest of VS2008, et cetera.
This makes the context menus completely unusable as white text on a light background is impossible to see. ;)
This is what the problem looks like:

Will this be addressed in a future version? |

Posted - Jan 16 2009 : 6:14:02 PM The newer style menus do, but the older VS2003/2005/whatever those are don't seem to handle them very well. I have the same problem in a few other applications that use similar menus. |

Excellent, thank you! I'm really looking forward to seeing this fixed; VA X is an awesome product and I'm already wondering how I survived using VS without it. |
