using vs2005
C++
correcting spelling error in a comment eg

// aspellerror sample which is underlined correctly

1) right click on the underlined word to change
2) press Escape to cancel
3) now unable to click/drag mouse to select range of text as normal

workaround:

1) right click in blank area of page to get standard visual studio right click menu
2) press escape
3) mouse reverts to normal (but fairly sluggish to start with?)

I am seeing the same effect here. Thank you for the clear description.

case=16204

We are currently working on this, but it is proving tricky to fix.
