Posted - May 06 2009 : 1:27:37 PM Folks,
I had to uninstall Visual Assist to get my Visual Studio (VC6) to come up. I ran into this problem after upgrading to Norton AV v3.0. Norton is now banned from my computer and reinstalled VA (build 1646). When I entered the registration key, VA said that it was invalid (!). So, why is it giving me an error when the registration key was purchased with build 1646? Any help on this matter will be greatly appreciated.

Are you entering both likes of the license key? If you only enter the second line then you will get this error message. The full key should look like this:
[email protected] (1-user license) Support ends 2009.04.04 XXXXXX-XXXXXX-XXXXXX-XXXXXX-XXXXXX-XXXXXX-XXXXXX-XXXXXX-XXXXXX-XXXXXX-XXXXXX
