Hello, when I change VAX configuration in VS 2k3 (e.g. uncheck "Enable Enhanced Syntax Coloring") and I press Apply, where/when exactly is the configuration stored? Since now when I lunch another VS 2k3 instance, it's still using the old settings. Sometimes when I run the first VS instance, the configuration is reset to the default state (or wasn't saved, don't know) so I have to do all changes again.

They are stored in the registry. So you are going to have to only have one instance of VS open when you want to make your changes. It's just like making other changes to the VS options if you have two open the one you don't make the changes in and close last will stomp the one you made the changes in. :) |
