Posted - Jun 12 2009 : 09:17:44 AM Some incorrect statements confuse Alt-G. For example
// example.cpp
void Fun() { }
// example.h
// just coding here... and then want to go to impl. of Fun() typedef std::vector<
// Alt-G doesn't work here void Fun();
tested with VA 1724, VS2005, VC60 |

Posted - Jun 12 2009 : 2:51:25 PM To a degree this is expected / by design. Our parser is fairly good at recovering from "broken" code, but it is not perfect.
In situations like this you can still use the Find Symbol dialog to jump to "Fun", or you can "fix" or simply comment out the problem line, and give VA a moment or two to catch up, then use alt-g. |
