Anything for a freebie , Dev Express has given away Code Rush Express to teh community , so I tried it .
It has a lot of nice refactorings that VAX doesn't so it may be worth a look I thought. The result is VS2008 becomes so sluggish as to be unusable .
Is there any known issues with these two apps clashing , or is it simply 2 parsers trying for fight for processor time
I uninstalled it and normality returned
ANy thoughts ? VaX is 1727 , XP sp2 etc Vs2008 Sp1

I am not aware of any conflicts / problems, but I am not trying to use this either.
Three parsers running at the same time, if you have the IDE parser active, could simply be the problem. If this was the case then you should be seeing either the CPU or the hard drive access maxed out, and this should ease after a few minutes, when everyone has finished parsing. |
