Posted - Jul 20 2009 : 10:27:21 AM Hi, I recently did an upgrade to the latest version, from an older version. VA proposed me to upgraded to the latest snippet and I said Yes. If I remember correctly he told me the previous one will be backup somewhere.
Now, I have lost my custom Snippet and I didn't remember where is the backup location. A 'grep' on various folder didn't do anything.
Is there really a backup location and where is it ?
Thanks

For the record, as I'm under windows 2008 + domain, I found it under: C:\\Users\\USERNAME\\AppData\\Roaming\\VisualAssist\\Autotext\\Saved

C:\\Documents and Settings\\ USERNAME \\Application Data\\VisualAssist\\Autotext\\Saved\ VA should have backed up the old snippet (.tpl) files to here. |
