VA build 1738, VS 2008 SP1

With VA Outline on autohide, the first time it is shown it is blank. Clicking on it makes it show the outline.

More annoyingly, the VA class browser on autohide is always blank. I would like it to show details for the symbol at the insertion point.

It doesn't do the same what you want, so your request is still valid.

Update with current scope doesn't seem to help.

Additional idea: you can turn on Update with current scope (Right click on the lower part of VA View):

case=39825 is about VA outline. Regarding you suggestion about VA view: I have put in a feature request to see what the developers make of it:

case=39883

Currently VA View is designed to refresh itself when you hover the mouse pointer over a symbol.

I am seeing the same effect here. Thank you for the clear description.
