Posted - May 19 2010 : 06:09:50 AM Hi there!
I'm not sure if this is a VA's feature. But it worked fine with earlier VA versions.
Alt+Left walks through a code fine, but Alt+Right doesn't work for me. Is is a VA's bug/feature or IDE's one?

Posted - May 20 2010 : 03:42:45 AM Strange, it should work. However, Visual Assist can also do the trick, you can use
VAssistX.NavigateBackward and VAssistX.NavigateForward
These are similar to the IDE variants. |

Posted - May 20 2010 : 03:21:24 AM I've assigned alt+right to Text Editor but the menu item "View->Navigate Forward (Alt + Right Arrow)" becomes disabled forever regardless restarting IDE and committing Alt+Left many times.
Default Ctrl+Shift+- is still working in spite my settings. It works unstable sometimes but it's better than nothing :) Actually I didn't know this shortcut, thanks for it. |

Posted - May 19 2010 : 1:26:27 PM The default for alt+right is to use code completion, it does the same as ctrl+space.
You can assign navigate forward to alt+right here:
Tools -> Options... -> Keyboard
Type "View.NavigateForward" under "Show commands containig" and assign alt+right to Text Editor. You can select the latter under "Use new shortcut in". |
