selections committed with:
tab -> on
enter -> off
any character not valid in a symbol -> off
Get content from default intellisense -> off (not reproduced with with "on")
type: std::vector<int>::it<SPACE>
actual result: "std::vector<int>::iterator "

"Selections committed with" behavior for member lists is now configurable under VA Options | Advanced | Listboxes. (case=9369), implemented in build 1829. |

so this is a hidden option, and the option "Any character not valid in a symbol" confuse us all, which make it a FAQ

Actually, any character not valid in a symbol applies to suggestion listboxes. You can turn off this feature completely:
