VAX 1649 (and I think I've seen this in the later releases too)
VS 2008 SP1
1) Put a huge cpp file in your solution.
2) Fire up the OFIW dialog, open the file, and immediately hit Ctrl+F and start typing...
The find dialog gains focus, but then the code window steals it - causing unwanted editing of the cpp file. Using source control, this soon becomes incredibly annoying.
Note that the above behavior cannot be reproduced without the OFIW dialog. |

This is still in our list of things to fix, but we would need to fix this without introducing other focus bugs in the process. So we need to be a little careful here. |

I am seeing the same effect here. Thank you for the clear description.

So far I am unable to reproduce the problem when using CTRL-I instead of CTRL-F, so you might find this a helpful work around for now. |
