If I select some text after a valid (C++) symbol with a standard '.' operator, e.g. a struct:
and press '.' (dot, period, whatever you want to call it) the cursor ends up before the dot and the suggestion list is based on that context (i.e. scoped before the dot, not after):
when it should be:

I am seeing the same effect here. Thank you for the clear description.

For now, you can select only the word after . via double-click or via ctrl+W when the caret is over the word. |
