I've downloaded both version 1830 and 1832. The installer says it installed successfully, but it doesn't show up in VS2010 (version 10.0.30319.1). It did work on another pc, but not on this one. I'm running a fully patched WinXP 32bit.
Any ideas? |

The first screen the installer shows has a pair of check boxes at the top, and the licence agreement at the bottom. When you run the installer is the top check box, "Microsoft Visual Studio 2010" enabled, and is it checked?
Is VA listed in the dialog:
IDE tools menu -> Extension Manager...
If you are loading the IDE as administrator you may need to turn ON the following IDE option after installing VA to get it to work:
IDE Tools menu -> Options -> Environment -> Extension Manager -> Load per user extensions when running as administrator |
