According to C9X, this is a valid single-line comment:
/\/ This should appear in green.
This is too:
//\This should appear in green.
Same goes for the multiline operators.
Not sure I'd actually recommend fixing it; seems like a whacko edge case (I only found it because I'm implementing a C++ file parser right now).

Comment coloring is done by Visual Studio. If you disable Visual Assist temporarily by
VAssistX -> Enable/Disable Visual Assist X
you will still be seeing the green coloring.
