If try to clone folder with whole Visual Studio 2005 solution to different folder and after open it there, then Find symbol dialog would silently opens files with wrong paths from old solution. |

Unfortunately a full restart of Visual Studio will be required in cases like this. |

Actually solution was opened *after* variables changed. And OpenFileInSolutionDialog has been working when FileSymbolDialog had not. |

*ah* It makes sense. You have to restart Visual Studio after you change the include dirs. Did you happen to restart VS?

I am using C++ language. Clone was done by TortoiseSVN 1.6.10 Build 19898 as a branch for developer purposes. Search paths in project include environment variables which was changed after cloning. |

What have you exactly done? I copied the files of a project physically to a different folder and then opened the project there. Find symbol worked just fine using VA 1837.
Update: what programming language were you using when you did the cloning? |

So far I cannot reproduce this problem. Can you please try pressing the button:
VA Options -> Performance -> Rebuild symbol databases
and restarting the IDE. Hopefully this will fix this problem. |
