I think there's a bug in the "No Suggestion Highlighted when Defining a Symbol" feature (C++).
Visual Assist confuse the const modifier with a type name and doesn't highlight a suggestion for the actual type that follows it.

I am seeing the same effect for volatile and register (I have added comment to the case) but extern and static work for me. e.g. if I type "extern v", I got the following result:

You're right, but that's hardly used these days and it's not supported by the standard since the 90s (IIRC)

The same goes for volatile, static, register, and extern by the way.

I have put in a feature request for this:

case=63672

This not strictly a bug since "const foo=5;" is accepted by older compilers. (defaults to int)
