Could we have an option to make brace matching not bold please ?
With bold brace matching (and my font) everything inside braces shifts a few pixels left when brace matching happens and it's a bit off-putting.

So long as you are not using VC6, go into the IDE options, and look for:
IDE tools menu -> Options -> Environment -> Fonts and Colors -> Display items = VA X Brace Error
IDE tools menu -> Options -> Environment -> Fonts and Colors -> Display items = VA X Brace Matching
you can turn off Bold here, and also set a background colour, to make matching brackets more obvious without having to make them bold. This should do exactly what you are asking for  |
