Posted - Aug 09 2019 : 4:53:32 PM Need a way to adjust how multithreaded parsing consumes resources. It makes your computer almost unusable when you open a new Unreal4 project. All cores are pretty much pegged at max. I have to turn off multithreaded parsing, but it would be nice to adjust the number of cores and/or the cpu % it consumes so you can actually work. Or perhaps prevent it from using a couple of cores.
I also need to have both vax and the visual studio intellisense operational at the same time because sometimes one can't find a symbol but the other can.
My workaround is to disable multithreaded parsing all together, but then it takes a lot longer to parse. |

Posted - Aug 09 2019 : 5:12:57 PM We are going to add UI to the options dialog for the following: https://docs.wholetomato.com/default.asp?W134 https://docs.wholetomato.com/default.asp?W774
But in the meantime, both priority and cores used can be set via registry -- requires restart of VS.
