Posted - Feb 24 2006 : 01:49:42 AM in the MRU list i have checked the option "include modified methods". if i double click on a modified method (or context menu "goto") i end up at the decleration of this function. while this is usefull for symbols, i recently searched, i think for a "recently modified method" this should bring me to the definition. because VAX already knows if i searched the symbol or if it is a modified method (different icons) this should not a big deal to implement.
edit: at least we could have an extra entry "Goto definition" in the context menu. |

Posted - Feb 25 2006 : 10:27:35 AM someone pointed out the same thing recently. i have put in a case for VA to take you to the function body by default, since this is what it does in C#, and this option was mainly added for C# users. plus people normally want the function body, rather than the function header.
case=968
as a work around if you press alt-g in the header file before you move the caret you will be taken to the function body without having to move the caret onto the function name and press alt-g. |
