  I would like to be able to have VAX enforce/support customizable formatting standards.
  For example,
  Changing:
  Foo(1, 2, 7, 5.664, "this is a long string");
  int x[] = {123523, 634523, 74567456 ,23423234 ,5457457,457457};

  to
  Foo(     1,     2,     7,.....etc    );
  int x[] = {             123523,             etc.           }

  Also supplying various positions of brackets/parens.

  For more detailed explanation either view the code formatting options of most Java IDE's or ReSharper's settings for C# |

                Posted - Jul 08 2006 : 2:34:09 PM this has come up before as a request. to do this properly we would require about 6,000 options, or maybe more
  for now VA simply lets the IDE do the formatting, according to its own settings. i can second the recommendation for GC, it is very flexible! hover, even with all of that i was never able to make it do exactly what i wanted when i experimented with it. better make that 6010 options |
