When intellisense is enabled, you can use the shortcut Ctrl-K, Ctrl-I (Edit.QuickInfo) to bring up a tooltip for the symbol the caret is currently positioned on. This emulates a mouse hover using only the keyboard.

But, of course, the greatest (IMO) feature of Visual Assist is the ability to disable entirely (via dll rename) the default intellisense and still get all Visual Assist's (faster, superior) feature set.

Would it be possible to add a keyboard shortcut to do the same thing with Visual Assist's tooltips? Or even just hook into that shortcut, if possible, as it does nothing when intellisense is disabled.

Thanks for the great product!
