While it's great to leverage the openoffice.org dictionaries, at some point there needs to be a realization that openoffice dictionaries are designed around word processing and VA-X is used by programmers doing code development. Hence there's a substantial number of domain specific terms that ought to be covered by an extension dictionary, and this ought to be included by VA-X instead of requiring each user to recreate it.
Words like:
polymorphism
multimethod
automata (as in "deterministic finite automata")
all of which are considered misspelled by the default VA-X install
anyone run into other words? |

I have tried asking for input on general questions before, but normally we get very little input on the forum. Not sure why, but that is just the way it tends to be. |

Although I didn't write "automata" in my source comment yet, however, "automata" should be a very common word among computer science students. Maybe feline can start a thread and ask for follow up? |

I don't think I have ever tried to use "multimethod" or "automata" in any comment I have ever written 
You make an interesting point, but personally I am not quite sure where to start writing such a word list. |
