Posted - Dec 19 2007 : 12:44:15 PM It would be useful to be able clean up method and class modifiers in VA outline in c#. A context menu would work well.
-Set Modifier -- public -- private -- protected -- internal -- partial -- static -- const (C++) -- ...
-Remove modifier -- ...

Posted - Dec 21 2007 : 2:37:17 PM I was not thinking in terms of running this on several functions at once. This makes more sense now I am.
I think this is covered by:
case=1094
I have put a note on this case about doing this via VA Outline. |

Posted - Dec 20 2007 : 5:09:52 PM With the change signature dialog, only one method, class, field, etc can be changed at a time, and it requires typing. The pattern here is that someone writes the class and then goes back and fixes up the access modifiers later. This would be easier if everything to be changed is selected in the outline, then the change is made with a menu. |
