Posted - May 12 2008 : 11:08:38 PM I wish to bind the VAssistX.VAView command to a keystroke to pop open the window, and close with the same keystroke. Currently, I have to use one command to open, and then Window.Hide to close. The two solutions I imagined are:
1) A VAssistX option to enable the toggle function instead of open function. 2) Writing my own command to toggle the open/closed status of the window. Obviously I'd much prefer to do this, but the only avenue that I'm familiar with in order to achieve this requires knowledge of the string id used to register the window. ( For solution explorer, this is "{3AE79031-E1BC-11D0-8F78-00A0C9110057}" ) Thus far, I have been unable to locate this information.

Posted - May 13 2008 : 12:32:31 AM This won't let you use the same keystroke to toggle it, but did you know that Shift+Escape will close any toolwindow (including VAView)?
