I would like to define a set of corporate snippets (e.g. standard corporate file headers) that I can easily distribute to my team.
At the moment, everyone has to merge any corporate snippets with their personal snippets which makes maintaining them across the team a real nuisance, almost to the point that we don't bother anymore. If I could simply send them a snippet file which they can install in the snippet folder alongside their existing snippets then the maintainance and distribution of corporate snippets becomes much simpler.

In the short term, if people are able to order the snippets, to the corporate ones are in one block and the personal ones are in a second block then this should help make merging the files a bit easier.
The snippets are stored in plain text files, so you can simply use a diff program to help do this. This FAQ entry should help:
