Whether it is possible or not to show a tooltip for selected symbol in which will show the file(s) that declared that symbol?

Regards!

Well I actually mean in find symbol dialog, didn't notice that before.

Thanks for clarifying!

Regards!

First of all I'm not sure if you ask selected symbol in find symbol dialog as you had mentioned in the title or selected symbol in the IDE editor?

In find symbol dialog VA already does that. Try hovering your mouse pointer over the symbol.

In the editor, why would you need that? I mean what would you use for? Usually it is useful to include the right header, but luckily we have add include refactoring which does the job:

Right click on the symbol, select the first menu item then add include refactoring. If it is greyed out it means that the header where the symbol is defined is already included in the cpp.
