Actually, there is an extension "vscommands 2010" which already has this feature. But since this is the only feature I'd use from it and I can't use msvc without visual assist, would be great if you add it.

We are considering doing this at some point:

However this is unlikely to be done any time soon, since applying syntax colouring to the IDE's output window is currently very hard.

If such feature would exist, I would also like to see paths to the files from solution coloured (bg?) differently as it would make resolving errors from stl/boost much easier.
