The primary reason we are looking at VA is due to the issues with IntelliSense. Ideally, we would like to disable IntelliSense and use VA instead.

But in testing this we quickly realized some basic functionality of IntelliSense was not easily replaced by VA. For example, pressing F12 to jump to the definition or <ctrl>-<alt>-F12 to jump to the declaration.

If this can be done with VA, is there a guide on how to configure Dev Studio to replace the functionality of IntelliSense?

Thanks for the help!

This FAQ explains how to disable the IDE's intellisense for VS2005:

and the same approach also works for VS2008.

For jumping to a declaration or definition you can use VA's goto command, Alt-g by default:

Unfortunately there are some IDE features that VA is not designed to replicate, so disabling IDE Intellisense is likely to have some effects. The IDE class browser is an obvious example of something that will probably stop working.
