When you go to rename a symbol, it should also look to see if there are any module definition files in use. And if so, it should look to see if that symbol is in there so it can rename it too.

Is there already an item for this? I searched but could not find one.

A good point, this is something we are looking to address at some point:

case=1140

although, personally, I always just use Change Signature when updating the method, so I forget about doing this this way.

Something else occurred to me. I thought I added it here, but don't see it.

There should be an option to rename the function prototype definition parameter names when renaming a parameter in a function, provided the prototype definition also has parameter names.

This is something we are considering adding. It has come up before, but only a couple of times, so I am not sure how many of our users work with these files:

case=52615
