I assume you use a third-party dictionary for spell-checking comments, but if possible you might want to consider combining it with a technical dictionary of computing words. Overall, the dictionary seems reasonably comprehensive, but I just had to add "tooltip" and "Javascript".

What I hate is having to add contractions, like "won't" and "isn't"...

We use a spell check engine from Matt Gullett, a highly respected contributor to Codeproject.

Anyone want to beef up the dictionary?

The problem of having to add the "ve" of "we've" to the dictionary looks like an error in defining where to break a word, rather than just a lack of words in the dictionary.
