If I move the Assist menu or the View (Not sure wich caused the trouble) menu to a sub menu of the main menu. Like so:
When I did this the VA View dockable window became a black window to the left of the main source window (even though I originally had it on another monitor (docked with other windows)). This happened after I restarted the environment.
I then tried to remove the black window (which had no x at the top right). I went to the Window menu and pressed close but nothing happened. I then tried to make the window floating, that crashed VS.Net. I was finally able to remove the window through some fiddling (moving the View menu back to default level) and restarts.
Now when I show the VA View window it will appear and act normally, but will show nothing. It only says: "This is the Visual Assist X tool window" |
