If I dismiss the Ctrl+Shift+V popup list (either by Enter or Escape), it stays popped up. I must dismiss it a second time for it to go away.

We cannot reproduce the problem.

Any other clues?

No more info, really. It does however work fine on my home PC, where I've got the same stuff installed -- VS.NET 2002, VAX 1213, Xbox SDK and DX9 SDK -- but that's with Win2000 rather than XP. (If that makes any difference.)

It also happens with Ctrl+Shift+Ins (which is also bound Edit.CycleClipboardRing), and happens if I dismiss the menu with the mouse rather than the keyboard. I'll try making a VBA macro that calls Edit.CycleClipboardRing tomorrow to see if that has the same effect.

As a final point, I guess my explanation may be a bit unclear -- the menu doesn't quite 'stick', but rather disappears, pastes the item in, then pops up again.

Can we assume Ctrl+Shift+V is [still] bound to Edit.CycleClipboardRing on the non-working PC?

We cannot find any settings within VS.NET that effect the clipboard ring. Might you know of any?

Yes, Ctrl+Shift+V is CycleClipboardRing on both working and non-working systems. I don't know of any settings that may affect it. However, it did work OK with VA.NET. If I turn VAX off, I get what must be the VS.NET CycleClipboardRing facility. That seems to work fine, but it's not as good as the VAX replacement...

I'm not aware of any clipboard ring options, but if I see any, or manage to fix it, I will post here about it!
