Hi there,
I downloaded VA X and there's a VA View tab in my workspace. How can I enable my 'old' settings with the class view and file view tabs????

Are you saying that when you open a project, you don't have the "File", "Class", and "Resource" tabs anymore?
Because with no project open, you don't get those tabs (with or without VAX)...

| Larry is correct. Only the VA View remains visible when you do not have a project open. We keep the VA View so you have access to the FIW, SIW and MRU lists. You can open files without reopening the project. |

No way. If I right-click I see class and file view enabled. But there's NO tab visible. Only the VA tab is visible.

Mind taking a screen shot of your IDE and sending it to [email protected]?
Is your Workspace visible at startup? Floating? Other addins? Any other clues? |

| I got the same problem. In VS.NET 7.1 it works correct, but in VC++ 6.0 it doesn't. I start the IDE, the VA View-tab is visible. Then I open a project, but there is still only the VA View-tab visible. I right-click right from the tab, and get the contextmenu, which says that my class-tab, my resource-tab and my files-tab are visible. But they aren't. |

It appears to be a problem with non-english versions of vc6. We are looking for the english names for the other views ClassView/ResourceView/FileView.
Working on a fix...

We are trying to get build (1214) out Monday. It should work with all languages, however we need help matching which icon goes with which tab.
We need help translating the following strings as they appear in the VC6 workspace tabs to each language.
"ClassView"
"ResourceView"
"FileView"
"DataView"

It is
"Klassen" for "ClassView"
"Ressourcen" for "ResourceView"
"Dateien" for "FileView"
"DataView" ... What's that supposed to be? |
