Hello. In past versions of VA (.net and 6), I was able to define an autotext entry like the following:
//: // DK_TEAM1 [%MONTH%/%DAY%/%YEAR%]
This was very helpful as it automatically appened my initials and date with every comment. All I had to do was type // and press enter and it automatically pasted DK_TEAM1 2/1/2003.
I've edited the cpp.tpl file in VA X with the same entry but it doesn't work anymore. If I type out //, it'll have the small box come up and I can see my entry, but if I press enter, the box disappears and instead my cursor moves to the line below (carriage return).
The strange thing is that if I type in // and some other alphabet key, then my entry will be pasted.
I have not been able to get this working with VA X at all. Would anyone happen to know why this isn't working anymore?
