When the options symbols in bold and / or italic is set, the symbol representation in the editor are too short, which means i.e. the symbol m_iCount will show in the editor as: m_iCoun

Cause: There is not enough room to show the whole symbol, because bold / italic fonts are larger.

Try a different font and/or font size. Some fonts work better than others. Courier New works pretty well.

Assuming you have build 1214 or 1215, you should have received a warning to this effect when you checked the option for italics.

VA X does not have the luxury of asking the IDE for more space to draw bold and/or italics. The IDE has no idea VA X is fiddling with the context of the source window. The IDE would be fairly annoyed if it did know.
