When i press Ctrl+I, "Incremental Serarch" flickers quickly in status line, but it does not stay on, so when i start typing, text is inserted instead of searching. Very annoying, as i do it a lot.
Must be new to 1215, because i didn't notice it before. |

Weird... works for me in .NET 2002... does the cursor change to that weird "down-arrow-with-an-M" thingy?

Ctrl+I was broken for VC++ several builds ago. We tested again and it appears to work in all IDEs.
Our records say you have VC++ 6.0. What emulation do you have set in Tools|Options|Compatibility?
Can you verify Ctrl+I works if you disable VA X using our toolbar button?
Do you have any other add-ins or packages installed? |

Yes, i use VC.6
Tools|Options|Compatibility - Custom(Developer Studio) - only customization is i protect R/O files from editing
I disabled VA - works. Enabled back - works again... So it is sporadic... Also i noticed that sometimes when i press Alt+G or select from Alt+M list - it jumps to completely unrelated location. Maybe i have to reboot more often...
Other packages - only WndTabs.

Not quite fixed, it sometimes happens with 1216, but cannot find a pattern. |

I have a 100 % reproducible case of incremental search (Ctrl+I) failing with VAX build 1293 + VC6. Simply hide the "Context and Definition Fields" bar and attempt an incremental search. Is this a known issue?
