When you unload VA through the VS6 Add-ins settings, VA comes up with the warning that all windows and the workspace have to be closed. Which is done properly.
But when you re-open a workspace without restarting VS6, all source windows look like this screenshot:


Restarting VS6 solves the problem.

Same thing happens to me, but I get some kind of Asian (Chinese?) font. Restarting fixes it...

Restart your IDE after an unload and load of the add-in. The instability it creates is the reason we have an enable/disable button.

You should expect your IDE to crash after an unload and load.

So why not replace the warning that the workspace and all files have to be closed with the better information that VC has to be restarted?
