...either you upload your Picture from c:\\tooltip.jpg to a webspace and link it to there or ask someone with webspace if he could kindly host the picture for you.

The way you did it now doesn't work. Maybe you see the pic (because on your system the file c:\\tooltip.jpg really exists), but all we others see a small red X, no orphaned tooltip...

Although I think we're all familiar with tooltips that got left behind.

Doh I hate it when I brain fart and everyone smells it. Tooltip(s) in question are from VA view. Simply autohide va view and then float over and hit esc to get the window to disappear and most of the time your tooltips will stay on the screen.

We can reproduce Keith's problem. You need to put focus in the HCB of the VA View so the ESC goes to the VA View, ie click then hover. Tooltip remains for a few seconds.

For me most of the time the tooltip actually remains until I reopen the window and float the same tooltip and then it will go away. Every once and a while it will actually go away after a few seconds. Perhaps if you try the repro a few times it will stay as it does for me? I need to learn not to use the esc key and actually click on the editor window. :)
