Isn't Alt-Shift-O supposed to do "Open File in Workspace"? It does nothing for me... I even reset my toolbars and keyboard...

We uninstalled and reinstalled VA X 1215 in VS.NET 2002. Alt+Shift+O opens the Open File in Workspace dialog.

Can you make sure Alt+Shift+O is not bound to anything else in your current scheme? Tools|Options|Environment|Keyboard

The assignment for VAssistX.OpenFileInWorkspaceDialog appears only when your keyboard mapping scheme is "[Default Settings]". In other schemes, VA X catches the shortcut if it is not bound to any other command.

If you still have a problem, tell us what scheme you use, assuming it is not a custom scheme. We will try the same here.

Ah. The problem was I'm using the "Visual C++ 6" scheme... apparently there's something assigned to Shift-Alt-O in that scheme. I created a copy and assigned it myself, now all is well. Thanks.

Can you create a copy of the "Visual C++ 6" scheme for us at install-time that has all the VAX stuff mapped to it? Just a thought...

Short answer: No.

Actually, Shift+Alt+O would work if your scheme did not have the shortcut assigned already, just like the other commands of VA X.

The VSIP interface for creating shortcuts is very limited. We can assign shortcuts only to the "[Default Settings]" scheme. We can do nothing else.
