HBITMAP hBitmap;

if(hBi <- at this point I press <TAB

Instead of completing it as hBitmap, it will complete it as HBITMAP. In other words, types take precedence over variables. Since the ratio of variables vs types is way over 1, please change this so the variable will be used.
Or better, check the case of what I typed so far.
