During editing (VAX 10.0.1215.0, VC6) the text is underlined with some dots. I don't have enabled neither enhanced coloring nor correction options - why do they (dots) appear?

I cannot still figure out the exact steps and/or conditions to reproduce behavior, but the dots do appear...

It looks like you have "View Whitespace" turned on. VS: Edit | Advanced | View White Space

Nope, hebbja, what he means is actually the remains of the caret which are visible in the shot.

I am sorry for confusing visible whitespaces. Great insight, Uniwares, I did not realize the dots are in fact remains of the caret.
