In this test period where a lot of VA.X version are released, having an option to auto check if a new version is available would be a nice feature

I second that. Most product which are under active development have some kind of autoupdate (windowsupdate, liveupdate, java, firefox, maxthon), or at least check for update. I know it's not a big deal to download and run VA setup, but it requires several mouse clicks (next accept license next next no finish) each time.
Besides it could save some bandwidth on both sides, when downloading only changed files. |
