I have a workspace that contains a couple of projects that share files. When I use the filter in VA View, I see multiple instances of the files that are shared. Apparently, it is showing one entry in the list for each project that references the file.

This is logical, and in my eyes can not be suppressed. Because you have to decide to which instance of the file you want to jump. This are seperate files!

Also you have a file named resource.h in every project. But it is not the same file!

Yes, resource.h is different in each project, so they should all be listed separately. But bob's example was where the same file is in several projects. I agree that in that case it should only be listed once.

I heartily agree! (I have lots of files in my Solution that are used in multiple projects - fixing this would make scrolling much more efficient.)
