I didn't check if this bug was already reported. If yes, I apologize ...
When starting to install the VA_X_Setup1219.exe, a message is opened that reports the need to close the Visual Studio, although it is closed. The optional buttons are: Abort, Retry, Ignore. Only the Ignore button enables the rest of installation process (which is not nice ...)
My OS is Windows 2000 SP 4. I have an MSVC 6.0 (not .NET).
And besides, the new VA looks promising ...

I just updated Topic 1171. Basically you have to shutdown Excel, Word, and SourceSafe, but not Outlook. Go figure...

Correction (after installation of 1221): I had an MS Outlook 2000 open. When I closed it, the problem gone ! Why does it have to disturb the installation ? Gal.
