...or lack thereof. When running the setup program, VAX installed itself onto my VS6, VS Net and VS Net 2003 without asking if I wanted to install on all three platform. I just wanted to test VAX with VS Net and keep the previous version of VA on my other two dev app.

It'd be nice for the setup to ask which VS I want to install it on.

We acknowledge your request. We should offer you the choice.

For right now, the most error-free way to returning VA 6.0 to VC++ 6.0 is to reinstall VA 6.0 after VA X. Your other option is to unload the VA X add-in in VC++ 6.0 using Tools|Customize|Add-ins, then use the same dialog to Browse to VAssist.DLL in the standalone VA 6.0 installation directory. Select and load. Restart your IDE immediately to keep it from crashing.
