Local symbols in bold option is going haywire. I've got global symbols bolded, class symbols bolded, local symbols bolded. I'm using VS.NET 2003 with C++ and C#. When I turn on this option every variable in the file that VAX can locate is bolded. At first I thought this was punishment for using C# but it is reproducable in C++ as well. Maybe you changed the scope that local applies to?

Something is whacked. Local should mean, "defined in the current file."

You are already a good contributor. Our only hope is you putz around to find some clues. We have not seen the problem ourselves.

Though not a solution for the long run, try reopening your current file and/or project. Restart the IDE. Lastly, rebuild symbol databases and restart the IDE.

Let us know if the problem recurs, what might have caused it and what, if anything, helps make it go away.
